This is another picture to celebrate the
Olympic Games in London.
The various swimming events were spectacular
for the thrill and excitement they provided, but also for
the venue in which they took place, which was no less
spectacular. I wanted to create the 'excitement
of anticipation' - to capture the intricate detail of the ripples
and distortions in the surface texture of the water - the moment
just before the start of the most important
race of the competitors lives.
